I’ll have a new DVD coming out titled, The Exquisite Surface, which covers a range of techniques and methods I use in my work. The DVD will be available through the Ceramic Arts Network (CAN) by early to mid-November 2018. If your intersted you can check out a snippet of the video on CAN’s website, here.
Thanks to all of the participants that made it to the workshop at Fine Line Creative Arts Center! Met so many wonderful artists and loved the art center! Totally unique place . . a hidden gem, though hopefully not too hidden . . anyone interested in taking classes in Ceramics, Fiber, Metal, or Glass should definitely go check it out.
Exciting exhibition opening at the Clay Art Center Port Chester, NY. Lineage: The Art of Mentorship, curated by Gail Kendall. She’s invited a whole smorgasboard of contemporary makers to show and invite former students or colleagues that shared a mentor/mentee relationship . . . I am so very pleased to have been invited by Julia Galloway to show in this exhibition opening on September 27 and runs through November 15, 2014.

In addition to my earlier article in the last edition of Studio Potter magazine, I will also have work appearing in these two new mid-fire glaze books. There are a few more around the corner too . . . keep an eye out at the end of 2014 and early 2015 for a new article and book publication.

I’ll be moving to Chicago this summer to start a new teaching position and set up studio in the Windy City. I’ll be conducting a few workshops in the mid-west too, so keep an eye out for upcoming events. In addition, I’ll be exhibiting around the US form June through the new year . . . newest on the list will be at Pewabic Pottery in Detroit.
I will be exhibiting a new body of work this month at the Alberta College of Art + Design titled,
“In Service”. It will feature contemporary table and housewares handmade and decorated for domestic spaces.
Show dates: Mon. April 7th – Friday April 11th, Reception will be held Thurs. 10th 5-7pm
